"Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind."
William James
Biography:
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts.

My coach training and certification has been through Coach University, an international coach training institution. I also have training and experience coaching clients with Attention Deficit Disorder. I am a member of the International Coach Federation which is the professional organization that sets the standards of conduct and ethics for professional coaches. The ICF standards and ethics may be viewed at www.internationalcoachfederation.com. I also have memberships with Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) and Children and Adults with AD/HD (CHADD).

When my children were young, I was the Director and Teacher in a Pre-kindergarten program.

Later, I worked at L.L. Bean in Inventory Management and International Retail. This experience opened my eyes to the complexities that global business managers face everyday.

As a volunteer, I taught English as a Second Language to local immigrants in Gloucester, Massachusetts. I also mentor Foundations Graduates at Wellspring in Gloucester.

My husband, Peter, and I make our home in Portland, Maine. Between us, we have four grown children and grandchildren.
